Your pleasant neighbourhood Spider-Man might be making a return to PlayStation consoles, with Spider-Man Miles Morales formally confirmed as a PS5 launch title.
Set to land with the console in ‘Vacation 2020’, it replaces old-school Peter Parker with Miles Morales, the newest fan-favourite incarnation of Spider-Man.
A full sequel to the 2018 title Marvel’s Spider-Man, we noticed solely a glimpse of the sport, with Miles kitted out in his signature pink and black costume amidst a snow-swept NYC.
Into the Spider-Verse
With a nod to the hugely-popular Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie, the sport’s shade palette is awash with neon and spectacle.
The 2018 Spider-Man was a pleasing shock, with many seeing it nearly as good a superhero sport as there’s ever been, alongside the Batman Arkham collection. Insomniac Video games nailed Spider-Man’s movement and swinging, making for a fluid traversal and fight system that was a pleasure to play, and a fantastic comic-worthy storyline.
With the 2018 sport getting used early on by Sony to showcase the ability of the PS5’s SSD, anticipate Miles Morales to be swinging in via a New York Metropolis freed from loading screens and pop up.
